Chinese scholarship for Sikkim student

A Sikkimise student has won a scholarship from Chinese government to study two-year master's programme in Chinese law at the prestigious Zhejiang University.
Mukul Rani Parajuli of Tadong Daragoan area in Gangtok, who won the scholarship, completed Master's Degree in International Law from Jindal Global Law School.
She is reportedly the first student from northeast India to bag a full Chinese government scholarship for a post-graduate course in Chinese law.
She left for Beijing on Thursday, her father Laxmi Sharma said.
Parajuli practiced at Sikkim High Court from 2009 to 2012.
