Chiwetel Ejiofor joins 'The Martian'

Chiwetel Ejiofor, Sebastian Stan and Mackenzie Davis have been cast in Ridley Scott's 'The Martian'.
They will join Matt Damon, Jessica Chastain and Kristen Wiig in the science fiction movie, reported Entertainment Weekly.
The 20th Century Fox film was adapted by Drew Goddard from Andy Weir's book.
Damon will star as an astronaut stranded on Mars, who must figure out how to survive long enough to return home to Earth.
The roles for the '12 Years a Slave', 'Captain America: The Winter Solider' and 'What If' actors respectively are yet to be revealed.
Sean Bean was most recently announced for the project.

Kate Mara, Donald Glover, Michael Pena and Jeff Daniels will also feature in the film.
'The Martian' will begin filming in November in Budapest.
