Chouhan lays foundation stone of Mantralaya annexe in MP

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan here today laid the foundation stone of Mantralaya annexe to be built at an estimated cost of Rs 346 crore.
Terming the foundation of the building as "temple of development" and not merely a structure, Chouhan appealed to officers and employees to work with commitment to develop Madhya Pradesh as one of the best states not only in the country but also in the world, an official release said today.
Later, Chief Minister also administered a pledge to officers and employees to re-build the state on Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day today.
Chouhan said that development has taken place in all sectors including agriculture, irrigation, infrastructure and industries in the state.
Currently, the state's economic growth rate is 11.08 per cent, highest in the country and agriculture growth rate of 24.99 per cent, which is highest in the world, it said.
Madhya Pradesh is the first choice for industrial investment and several drives like skill development, Make in Madhya Pradesh campaign were launched to ensure success of Prime Minister's 'Make in India Campaign', the release added.
Chouhan said that efforts should be made to solve problems of people with broader perspective and everyone should discharge their duties with responsibility.
