Chouhan refuses to speak on Advani-Modi issue

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today maintained a silence on the recent elevation of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi in BJP and the subsequent resignation by veteran leader L K Advani from all key party posts.
The Chief Minister arrived here to inaugurate the new building of the Police Training College.
When reporters asked for his reaction on Modi's elevation as the Chairman of the BJP's National Poll Campaign Committee and Advani's subsequent resignation from all party's posts and later its rollback on the advise of RSS, Chouhan preferred to remain silent on the issue.
Earlier, addressing the function, the Chief Minister announced to give dearness allowance (DA) to policemen at par with the Centre from next January and also informed that the state government is formulating a new health policy for the police employees and the same would be approved soon by the state Cabinet.

Emphasising on providing training to police force in sync with the changing times, he said they required special training based on modern technology in view of the fast changing crime scenario.
He also advised new recruits to remain away from ego associated with the post and behave in a good manner while dealing with the public.
