The festival will screen films on social issues and environment conservation. Actor Manoj Joshi and Malayali film director Vinod Mankara will also be present for the inaugural function, a release issued by the festival organisers said today.
The aim of the festival is to promote young directors by bringing them on a common platform, it said.
A total of 237 films in different arts were submitted for the festival and among them 110 films were shortlisted which include 60 short-films, 30 documentaries and 20 animation films, the release added.
