The report surfaced days after Brown got arrested on suspicion for assault with a deadly weapon. He was later released on USD 250,000 bail.
Brown maintained his innocence throughout the ordeal, but sources suspect his ex Nia Guzman filed a complaint against him in light of the allegations, amid concerns for the safety of their two-year-old daughter Royalty, reported E! Online.
In an Instagram video that has since been deleted, Brown has said, "I take care of my daughter fully. Somebody make an accusation, 90 per cent of y'all believe it, and it's crap. The last three weeks or whatever been going on with the accusations, you know it's false."
The "Loyal" rapper was involved in a nine-hour police standoff at his California home after Baylee Curran claimed Brown pulled a gun on her and threatened her.
At the time of the incident earlier this month, it was learned that Royalty's custody agreement could come into question. Brown's attorney, Mark Geragos, also said that no guns or drugs were found at the home, and Royalty was not present at the time of the incident.
