The actor, who portrays the God of the Norse, said he would like to see the character hanging out "with the Guardians crew," reported Aceshowbiz.
When asked which franchise he wanted Thor to appear in, the 32-year-old actor said, "I'd love him to hang out with the Guardians crew. I love that film and there's a great amount of fun to be had."
It is not likely to happen because "Guardians 2" will not feature any member of the Avengers, even as cameos.
Official synopsis for the sequel to "Guardians of the Galaxy" has yet to be announced.
Pom Klementieff is also in the cast and is rumoured to play Mantis. Directed by James Gunn, the space superhero movie is slated for a US release on March 5, 2017.
