Actor Chris Pratt will be honoured with the Generation Award at the MTV Movie & TV Awards this year.
The "Avengers: Infinity War" star will receive the award during the annual ceremony which will be held on June 18 and hosted by Tiffany Haddish.
According to MTV, the award is "given each year to one outstanding talent for their noteworthy contributions for film and TV".
Past recipients of the award include the Fast & Furious franchise, Will Smith, Reese Witherspoon, Sandra Bullock, Jamie Foxx, Ben Stiller, Adam Sandler, Mike Myers, and Pratt's Marvel co-star Robert Downey Jr.
Pratt has films such as "Jurassic World", "Guardians of the Galaxy", "Magnificent Seven", "Moneyball" and "Zero Dark Thirty" to his credit.
On TV, the 38-year-old actor is best known for his turn as Andy Dwyer on "Parks and Recreation".
Pratt is currently gearing up for the release of "Jurassic World: The Fallen Kingdom", which also stars Bryce Dallas Howard, BD Wong, and Jeff Goldblum.
