Actor Ewan McGregor, who stars as the grown up Christopher Robin in a new Disney film, believes the films will appeal to a wider audience.
Directed by Marc Forster, in "Christopher Robin" Disney has visited an old classic to explore the story of an older Robin and his bear friend, Winnie the Pooh.
"I think people will be surprised and I think it's probably what Walt Disney wanted from the beginning. a film that is for children, but not just for children," McGregor said in statement.
The film also stars Hayley Atwell, Bronte Carmichael and Emmy winner Mark Gatiss as besides featuring the voices of Jim Cummings as Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, Brad Garrett as Eeyore, Toby Jones as Owl, Nick Mohammed as Piglet, Peter Capaldi as Rabbit and Sophie Okonedo as Kanga.
Pooh, written by AA Milne in 1929, has had a rich fictional life with apperances in TV, theatre, films and radio.
The new film releases in India on August 10.
