The club is not invited to play Fed Cup this year after All India Football Federation (AIFF) did not give it the licence due to some procedural lapses.
Churchill Bros' Chief Executive Officer Valanka Alemao said the club should have got a direct entry into the tournament, which will be played from December 28.
Valaka said the club do not intend to hold back the Cup as a mark of protest, as reported by some media.
"But we would like to mention that we are hurt with the attitude of AIFF which has not given us a chance to play," she added.

AIFF General Secretary Kushal Das, in a letter to Churchill Bros, had asked the trophy be handed over to Tony Cabral, AIFF coordinator, who is currently in Goa.
Valanka said that the club has completed all the formalities required for licencing with the AIFF.
"As far as we are concerned we have given all the documents. I don't know why AIFF has still not considered us for playing," she said.
