Churchill Brothers have been stuck to the sixth place ever since theirvictory over Bengaluru FC, Mohun Bagan and East Bengal.
But after these games, they managed a draw against Shillong Lajong, Mumbai FC, but lost to Aizawl FC in their last match, which has put them in tight spot for survival in the tournament.
New entrant Chennai City and Minerva Punjab do not have to fight for relegation.
The axe is now on Churchill Brothers, DSK Shivajian FC and Mumbai FC.
