Churu shivers at 5.7 degree C

People in Rajasthan's Churu district experienced the coldest night of the season with a minimum temperature of 5.7 degrees C, about 4 degrees C less than the normal, a MeT report said here.
Mercury fluctuated by one to three degree C as the minimum temperature remained below 10 degrees C at many places in north-west of Rajasthan.
Nagaur recorded a minimum of 8.4 degrees C followed by Alwar and Hanumangarh 8.6 degrees C each, Tonk, Sriganganagar, Jalore, Pilani, Bharatpur, Dholpur around 9.5 degrees C each.
There was a respite from cold winds in Jaipur as its minimum temperature rose by 1 degree to settle at 10.6 degrees C last night.
In rest of the state, the night temperature ranged between 10 and 15 degree C including Ajmer, Barmer, Bhilwara, Bikaner, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Sikar, Udaipur, Jhalawar, Kota, and Jodhpur districts.
MeT office in a forecast said that cold wave conditions may come back in next three days in northwest of the state.
