Mishra called on the Chief Minister this morning and discussed matters relating to public empowerment through the Right to Information Act (RTI), an official spokesman said.
Later, Oreon met Abdullah and discussed issues pertaining to the welfare of schedule tribes and weaker sections of society, the spokesman said.
J and K Social Welfare Minister Sakina Itoo, members and officials from the National Commission for Schedule Tribes and Secretary Social Welfare and other senior officers from that Department were present in the meeting, the spokesman said.
He also said Secretary Social Welfare elaborated the schemes under implementation in the state aimed at betterment and holistic development of schedule tribes and weaker sections of society.
