CII Karnataka appoints Sandeep Kumar Maini as new Chairman

Industry body CII's Karnataka state council today announced the appointment of Sandeep Kumar Maini, Director of Maini Precision Products Pvt Ltd, as its new Chairman.
Announcing new office bearers for 2014-15, CII-Karnataka said Maini will take over from the incumbent Chairman Soumitra Bhattacharya, Joint Managing Director, Bosch.
A M Muralidharan, President, Volvo Construction Equipment, India will serve as the Vice Chairman, it said in a release.
CII said Maini is the Chairman of the Maini Group of Companies since 2007. The Group consists of companies that have Domestic and International Operations in the fields of Automotive & Aerospace, Plastics & Composites, Material Handling Equipments, Storage Systems, Electric Vehicles and All-Terrain Vehicles.

The Maini Group is also the founder promoter of REVA, the largest selling Electric Car in the world, it added.
