The decision in this connection was taken during a meeting between Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan and Chief Minister Raman Singh yesterday in New Delhi, a senior health department official said today.
"To bring qualitative improvement in the health services of the state, the Centre has sanctioned these institutions," he added.
In the meeting, it was decided that one out of 12 super speciality hospitals announced in the recent budget under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY) will come up in Bilaspur.
Similarly, a School of Public Health under AIIMS, Raipur will be established in Naya Raipur, he added.

Meanwhile, Singh had invited the Union Minister to visit the state next month which was accepted by him.
Harsh Vardhan expressed his desire to see a detailed presentation on activities of AIIMS, Raipur and various health schemes in the state during his possible visit here, he said.
Chief minister also stressed on the need to open a rural research centre for eradication of various diseases in SC/ST inhabited areas of the state in the meeting, he said.
