The board of directors today "approved the appointment of Kedar Upadhye as Global Chief Financial Officer of the company who will assume office on or before August 16, 2016," Cipla said in a filing to BSE.
Upadhye will replace Umang Vohra, who will continue to be the Global Chief Operating Officer, it added.
At present, Upadhye is with Dr Reddy's Laboratories where he is Vice President, Global Generics Finance and Head of Investor Relations, Cipla said.
