Circle Officer among 6 policemen injured in attack

A Circle Officer and five other policemen were injured and their official vehicle was torched by a mob today, which was protesting against arrest of a person in connection with murder of his nephew in Jaswant Nagar area here.
According to Additional Superintendent of Police, Sarvanand, "Circle Officer Anil Kumar and five others were injured when they attempted to pacify the villagers agitated over the arrest of Adesh Kumar."
Body of four-year-old Devanshu was found in the garbage last night and today a police team went to arrest Kumar, his uncle, on suspicion.
