According to the police, the deceased, identified as Satish Kumar, was a head constable in CISF and lived in Sector 4, CISF Quarters at Bawana.
"We received a call at around 9:30 AM. A police team rushed to the spot and found him lying on his bed unconscious. He was taken to Baba Saheb Ambedkar hospital where he was declared brought dead," said a police official.
He was alone at home when he was found unconscious by his brother-in-law. His wife was at her parents' home for the last few days. The cause of death seems to be due to consumption of a poisonous substance, police said.
Investigators have not recovered any suicide note from the spot. Initial inquiry suggests he was depressed over some family issue, police said.
