CISF creates temporary night shelter for RML patients

A 50-bedded temporary night shelter at the RML Hospital set up by CISF for the stay of family members of poor patients was inaugurated today.
The shelter has been created using pre-fabricated structure and will have blankets and mattresses for the people who avail it, a senior official said.
The shelter will be provided security and other logistics by a team of Central Industrial Security Force personnel deployed here and it will help some of those who are not able to find a suitable boarding place near the hospital.
"The facility can be availed by any person belonging to the economically weaker section who visits this hospital for getting treatment of their kin. The allotment of beds will be done on the basis of names recommended by Ram Manohar Lohia hospital authorities," the official said.
The facility was inaugurated by the chief of the Wives Welfare Association of the force- Neelam Singh, who is the wife of CISF Director General O P Singh.
