The four-month course is part of the skill development initiative of the government and the 'Hunar Se Rozgar' (employment from skill) scheme of the ministry.
A total of 31 sons and daughters of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) jawans and officials, in the age group of 21-27 years, will be trained by the ministry's Ashoka Institute of Hospitality and Toursim Management in the first phase.
CISF Director General (DG) O P Singh inaugurated the course yesterday here.
"On completion of the course, the participants will be awarded certificates which will enable them for placements in hospitality and tourism management sector," CISF spokesperson Deputy Commandant Manjit Singh said.

The DG said such courses are aimed to help and ensure jobs for the children of the jawans and officers of the force, who are themselves posted away from their homes for a long time.
