CISF restores to a man bag with Rs 2.50 lakh of jewellery

CISF today restored a bag containing Rs 2.50 lakh worth of gold jewellery to a man which he forgot at a Delhi Metro station.
Officials said the incident happened at around 0730 hours at the Pratap Nagar Metro station where he put his bag in the X-ray luggage scanner but forgot to collect it.
Mahbub, a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable, deployed at the station spotted the bag and after anti-sabotage checks it was kept in safe custody.
The bag contained a necklace, chain, locket, nose ring, ear pin, mangtika and four rings made of the yellow. Metal.
"Later, a Nagloi resident came to the said station for claiming the bag and he was handed over the bag containing the jewellery worth Rs 2.50 lakh after proper verification," a CISF spokesperson said.
