CISF will generate more funds for the welfare of the families of its personnel who are deployed across the country on a variety of security duties.
The new initiative, which aims to create more vocational jobs and provide better training for the spouses and family members of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel, was recently undertaken by the wives welfare association of the force.
A senior official said that a host of activities, like the holding of money-oriented fairs, will be undertaken this year with a decision in that regard having been taken by the chairman of the association, Subha Ranjan, the wife of CISF chief Arvind Ranjan.
CISF is a 1.30-lakh strong force with the majority of its personnel deployed to secure 59 civil airports in the country along with important installations in the aerospace and nuclear domain.
