The force, which is already guarding the Delhi Metro network and its stations, will be deploying over 100 personnel at the new locations.
"The new contingent will have both men and women personnel inclduing quick reaction teams of commandos," a senior CISF officer said.
A formal approval for the operationalisation of the new route is expected to be made soon by the Commissioner for Metro Rail Safety (CMRS).

The new line is expected to help decongest the busy Rajiv Chowk Metro Station as commuters on the Badarpur-Central Secretariat Line who are headed to Noida and Vaishali will be able to change trains at Mandi House and not have to do so twice, as is the case now, at Central Secretariat and Rajiv Chowk stations.
The line is expected to benefit about 70,000 additional commuters travelling to parts of Connaught Place, Janpath, National School of Drama, High Court, Bengali Market and Barakhamba Road, among others.
