Justice D Hariparanthaman, on the petition by the Headmistress, ordered issue of notices to the Directorate of Elementary School Education, District Elementary School Education officer, Assistant Elementary School Education Officer, Royapuram, and present Secretary of the school to file their replies within eight weeks.
She submitted that she was working as Headmistress in the school from 2009. The private institution is an aided and recongized one and therefore governed by Tamil Nadu Recognised Private School Regulation Act.
The school management, annoyed by the criminal complaint lodged, has suspended her, which was stayed by the Madras High Court and she was re-instated. But even after that, the management was troubling her by closing the toilet and disconnecting the electricity connection to her room, she submitted.
She made a complaint to the Educational authorities and requested them to transfer her from the present school to another school.
However, she said since there was no response from the authorities, she moved the High Court.
