The CITU today announced its support to the state-wide dawn to dusk bandh tomorrow called by the Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) and the CPI in protest against the Land Acquisition Bill.
"The CITU has decided to join the bandh because the bill is not only anti-farmer but also it is an attempt to snatch rights of the people who got them after years of struggle," CITU National General Secretary and MP Tapen Sen said at a press conference here.
He said that supporters of the CPI(M)'s labour wing would hit the streets to make the bandh successful.
