City to hold 'Invest Dakshina Kannada-2016' meet

: The Dakshina Kannada district administration has decided to hold an investors conference here on January 12 in connection with the state government's 'Invest Karnataka-2016' meet scheduled to be held from February 3 to 5 at Bengaluru.
The meet, 'Invest Dakshina Kannada-2016', would beheld at the T M A Pai Convention Hall here.
The decision was taken at a meeting convened by DK deputy commissioner A B Ibrahim here yesterday, an official release said.
The conference was being organised to attract investments to Dakshina Kannada district to generate employment, explore tourism opportunities, create awareness about employment opportunities, to facilitate investors at a single point and to create awareness about the state's industrial policy for 2014-19, the release said.

The district administration urged industrialists,budding entrepreneurs, businessmen and all interested partiesto attend the conference and encourage industrial growth in the district.
