TV presenter Clara Amfo is to take over from Fearne Cotton as host of BBC Radio 1's 'Live Lounge'.
Cotton has announced that she is expecting her second child and has decided to leave the radio station after ten years of service, reported BBC.
Amfo, who currently hosts shows for Radio 1 and 1Xtra, will take over the weekday 10am-1pm Radio 1 Live Lounge slot from Monday, May 25.
The presenter will continue to present the Radio 1 official chart show. She will vacate her 1Xtra weekend breakfast slot from Sunday, May 17.
Amfo said: "I am honoured and thrilled to be presenting such a huge show on Radio 1. The broadcasters who have gone before me have left an impressive trail and I hope to carry that on.
"Doing this job is an absolute joy and to now have the opportunity to broadcast Monday to Friday is something that I am so grateful for," she added. "I can't wait to introduce a Live Lounge artist for the first time!"
Ace will succeed Amfo as host of the 1Xtra weekend breakfast show, and said: "So excited to be back on the schedule! Can't wait to get stuck in. I guarantee your weekend lie-in will never be the same again!"
Cotton announced that she and husband Jesse Wood are expecting another baby and that she would leave Radio 1, with her last show airing on Friday, May 22.
