Claris chief Handa, three promoters transfer stake to 2 others

Claris Lifesciences' chief Arjun Handa alongwith three promoters today transfered over 60 per cent of their holding, worth more than Rs 800 crore, to two other promoter entities.
The move is part of the company's efforts to consolidate the shareholding of various promoters.
As many as 3.84 crore shares were transferred to Athanas Enterprises and Abellon Energy, the two promoters of pharma company.
According to bulk deal data available with the BSE, Claris Lifesciences' four promoters--Aditya S Handa, Arjun Handa, Medical Technologies and Sarjan Financial--transfered a total of 3.84 crore shares, amounting to 60.21 per cent, of the company worth Rs 801 crore.
Individually, Aditya and Arjun has transfered 21.91 lakh and 78 lakh scrips respectively at an average price of Rs 219.1 apiece.
Besides, Medical Technologies has transfered 46.53 lakh, while Sarjan Financial has shifted 2.37 crore scrips of Claris Lifesciences at a price of Rs 204.7 per share.

Of total 60.2 per cent shares transfered, 49.48 per cent holding has been acquired by Athanas Enterprises and the remaining 10.72 per cent by Abellon Energy.
As of September quarter, the promoters along with Arjun Handa held 60.21 per cent stake or 3.84 crore shares in the company.
Claris Lifesciences shares fell by 2.09 per cent to close at Rs 194.30 apiece on the BSE.
