Clash between two ethnic communities: Cops fire in air

A clash occurred between the members of two separate ethnic communities at Moreh in Chandel district which saw security personnel firing in the air to control the situation, police said.
Nobody was injured in the incident yesterday, police said.
The clash occurred following an altercation among some individuals belonging to separate ethnic communities, they said.
Police resorted to a lathicharge before rounds were fired in the air to disperse the clashing groups, they added.
