"The boy's mother approached the commission expressing her helplessness to pay the fees as the family was facing severe financial crunch after her husband had passed away following long-term illness," a DCW official said.
"We had summoned the school officials including the Director and Principal and counselled them that a student's life should not be put at stake for lack of money," the official added.
The school authorities gave us a written assurance that they would immediately provide him the admit card and the school also waived off the boy's pending fees, the DCW official said.
