Reacting to Gadkari's remarks that "accusations" against Raje have "no substance" and BJP as well as the central government are strongly behind her, Pilot said it was an important aspect of "BJP's corruption protection policy" by ignoring the facts and figure.
"There are hard facts and evidences against the both but it appears that it is an important aspect of BJP's corruption protection policy," Pilot alleged.
Reacting to Gadkari's statement that Raje had done no wrong and such issues should not be brought into politics, the Rajasthan Congress chief said Congress was not making any one, neither Raje nor her son, victim of politics.
He also criticised Finance Minister Arun Jaitley for giving "clean chit" to Raje and Dushyant even before ED probe against Lalit Modi was complete.

BJP was insulting the public mandate and their feeling, and was following unconstitutional policy by giving "clean chit" to its accused leaders, Pilot said.
Speaking to media Gadkari had said, "The allegations against Raje are baseless...Vasundhara ji legally, logically, ethically is completely correct. There is no fault of hers anywhere.
