Clerk of pvt finance firm shot in Kurukshetra

A 30-year-old clerk of a private finance company was shot at in his office located at Pehowa in this district today, the police said.

CCTV recordings showed that two unidentified youth arrived on a black coloured motorcycle without a registration number, went up to the first storey of the building near a bus stand on Ambala-Kaithal road and fired at Sandip twice, SHO of Pehowa police station Jai Narain said.

One bullet hit Sandip on his left arm while the second one hit him in the back, the police official said, adding the accused did not take anything from the office.

On basis of the statement of the victim, a case has been registered by the police and investigation into the case is underway, he said.
