Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton's lead over her Republican rival Donald Trump has reduced to just three points, according to a latest opinion poll.
Clinton now leads Trump 47 to 44 per cent as against 48 to 43 per cent last week, said the NBC News/Survey Monkey in its latest weekly poll released today.
"Clinton's lead over Trump has deteriorated in the past couple of weeks since her lead peaked two weeks ago," it said.
According to the survey, a strong majority of voters (82 per cent) agreed that it was inappropriate for Clinton to use a personal email server during her tenure as the secretary of state.
A smaller majority, 56 per cent, also said they disagreed with FBI Director's recommendation that Clinton not be prosecuted for use of the server.
The NBC News|SurveyMonkey Weekly Election Tracking poll was conducted online from July 4 to July 10 among a national sample of 7,869 adults who say they are registered to vote.
As per RealClearPolitics.Com, which tracks all major poll, Clinton's average lead over Trump is 4.5 points.
