A religious place and some houses were partially damaged in a cloudburst in Pulwama district of south Kashmir, forcing the authorities to shift four families to safety.
The cloudburst struck Gundbal village of Awantipora,32kms from here, last night partially damaging a mosque and some houses, a police spokesman said.
However, he said there was no causality in the incident.
"On hearing about the incident, a police party was rushed to the spot and four families were evacuated and provided shelter at a government school at nearby Dursoo as a precautionary measure," the spokesman added.
