A senior forest official said the clouded leopard's carcass was spotted by tea garden labourers of Kurti Estate at Malbazar subdivision under Nagrakata block this morning.
The carnivore is believed to have strayed from adjacent Dyna Forest range, the officer said, adding the carcass has been sent for autopsy to ascertain the reason behind the animal's death.
