Cloudy patches in Delhi, rain likely tomorrow: Met office

It was sunny and cloudy in patches in the national capital with the mercury today settling within levels normal for this time of the year.
The MeT office, however, has forecast rains and thunderstorm for tomorrow.
The Safdarjung observatory, whose recording is considered official for the city, registered a maximum temperature of 38.7 degrees Celsius, a notch below the average.
Areas under Palam, Lodhi Road, Ridge and Ayanagar observatories recorded maximum temperatures of 39.6, 36.8, 39 and 38.7 degrees Celsius, respectively, said a MeT department official.
The minimum temperature settled at 28.4 degrees Celsius, two notches below the normal, the official said.
The humidity level oscillated between 46 and 28 per cent.
The MeT office has predicted overcast conditions along with rain and thunder storm for tomorrow.
"Maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 38 and 29 degrees Celsius, respectively," the weatherman said.
