The Delhi High Court today granted anticipatory bail to liquor baron Kishanlal Wadia's grandson Parth Wadia accused of trying to force his way into a club here by assaulting their staff along with his friends and security personnel.
Justice Sudershan Kumar Misra granted bail to Wadia on a personal bond of Rs 50,000 and a surety of like amount.
Wadia, who was earlier granted interim bail till July 31, had approached the High Court after the lower court did not allow his plea for anticipatory bail.
He sought the anticipatory bail on the ground that the investigating officer has been given all the information about the incident and has been co-operating in the probe.
During the hearing, Wadia's counsel told the court that his client has already joined the investigation as and when required by the police and there was no need to arrest him.
He said an amicable settlement has already been arrived at between accused Wadia and the complainants in the case.

However, the public prosecutor opposed Wadia's plea and said his custodial interrogation was needed and the CCTV footage of club Keya at DLF Promenade Mall, where the incident had taken place, was a crucial piece of evidence in the case.
The prosecutor also said that had the CCTV footage not been there, Wadia might have denied his presence at the spot.
The counsel for Wadia, however, said that the CCTV footage might have been tampered with and the police were not presenting the entire facts before the court.
Various men, including a relative of an MLA, accompanied by armed bodyguards, had on June 27 night turned violent when bouncers denied them entry into club Keya, police said.
It had said they have been booked with attempt to murder under the IPC and under the Arms Act.
Police had registered two FIRs, one against the bouncers and the other against the alleged mischief-makers.
The police had said one of the PSOs of Wadia had shown revolver and threatened to kill the bouncers and staff of the club. One of the PSOs had allegedly assaulted a bouncer with a sharp-edged weapon, it had claimed.
