CM announces financial aid to top five rank-holders of CPMT

Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today announced a financial aid of Rs one lakh each and free education to first five rank-holders of the Common Pre-Medical Test (CPMT) 2014.
"Rupees one lakh each will be given to these students for expenses, including various types of fees, books and other material and arrangement of free education will be made," an official spokesman said here.
Earlier, Akhilesh felicitated first five rank-holders, including Shams Mohammad Khan, Abu Asim, Shubham Malhotra, Alia Zehra and Priyanshi Swaroop at his official residence.
He presented a book on anatomy to the merit holders and congratulated them on their success.
Akhilesh said that honouring those with outstanding performance inspire others to perform better.
He said the government was committed to provide qualitative medical education so that pepople of the state could get more and more able doctors.
