Chairing a review meeting of the Education Department here, she said the state had taken several initiatives to bring about positive changes in the education sector, which delivered "encouraging" results.
The improvement in the education sector in the state was "visible", she added.
The chief minister asked the officers to rope in donors to develop and improve the facilities in the schools.
"The government is making efforts to improve the quality of education. Adarsh schools have been developed in around 4,500 gram panchayats. In the current financial year, such schools will come up in over 5,000 gram panchayats," a release quoted Raje as saying.
State Education Minister Vasudev Devnani, Chief Secretary OP Meena and Principal Secretary, Finance, Prem Singh Mehra were present at the meeting among others.
