CM Health Insurance Scheme to be unveiled on Sep 25: Das

Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme will be unveiled in the state on September 25, the birth anniversary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay.
He said during his meeting with Union Health secretary, C K Mishra, an official release said here.
Congratulating the state government for constructive change in the development of the state, Mishra said the state and the Centre would work together in the health sector and the Centre would extend all possible help.
To eradicate kala-azar, special campaign is being carried out in Dumka, Sahibganj, Pakur and Godda districts, Das said, asking the chief secretary and additional chief secretary (health) to monitor it.
The chief minister also called upon the students of Kasturba Girls Residential schools to start an awareness campaign in at least five villages. One lakh rupees prize money would be given to the school showing effective results, the release said.
The Union Health secretary said that by 2019 AIIMS would start functioning in Deoghar.
The chief minister also urged the Centre to make Central Institute of Psychiatry at Kanke in Ranchi the best among medical institutions.
