Jolly, along with other BJP leaders including state General Secretary Pravesh Sahib Singh Verma and state Vice President Radhey Shyam Sharma, met the Chief Minister today to demand a quick solution to the people's water woes.
They alleged that the Chief Minister is "not serious" about finding a solution to the problem and told them that she could not find a "magical solution" to water shortage in Delhi, according to a statement by the party.
"Sheila Dikshit is arrogant and DJB under her Chairmanship has failed to find solution to Delhi water woes," it said.
The BJP members pointed out that the people of large unauthorised colonies of Delhi Sangam Vihar, Tigri, Devli village, Nebsarai and lakhs of people living in South Delhi residential colonies are facing hardships due to drinking water shortage in the scorching summer heat.
"She also adversely commented on the role and conduct of Haryana Governmnet. This did not satisfy the Delhi BJP leaders," Jolly said.
He said the DJB's summer action plan had failed and the "political drama" over water between Delhi and Haryana's governments was "deplorable".
