Telangana Boggu Gani Karmika Sangham (TBGKS), the trade union affiliated to Rao's TRS, is also in the fray in the polls scheduled for October 5.
With jobs to the dependents of employees being struck down by courts, Rao said such jobs would be given on "compassionate grounds" and that legal advice is being obtained on the matter.
"The dependent jobs would not go anywhere," he told reporters.
The dependent jobs were employment earlier offered to kin of the employees, who are in the age group of 48-59.
