Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today sanctioned 1,021 projects worth Rs 25.40 crore under the Ama Gaon Ama Bikash (Our village, our development) programme, officials said today.
The chief minister sanctioned Rs 25.40 crore for 1,021 projects as per the suggestions made by panchayat representatives through video conferencing at the state secretariat here, they said.
A total of 26,587 projects worth Rs 656.90 crore including today's project has been sanctioned under the programme which was launched in the state in March this year.
Under the Ama Gaon Ama Bikash programme, the chief minister discusses the proposals directly with the villagers and then sanctions the amount for the proposed projects.
