CMA organises financial literacy for management students

Calcutta Management Association jointly organised an interactive programme with Multi Commodity Exchange of India with an aim to spread financial literacy among the management students.
CMA in a statement said the programme was participated in a big number and students got an exposure in the commodity market.
Vibhor Tandon, Assistant Vice President-Business Development, MCX said, "We have received an encouraging response from the students of CMA. This creates awareness about the need to hedge commodity risks but also helps the participants in understanding how hedging can be done through commodity futures exchanges."
Asok Kumar Banerjee, Vice President, CMA, & Chairman, IIM Calcutta Alumni Association said, "We always heard 'catch them young' but this great initiative by MCX & CMA is teaching the young target audience 'teach them young' on the nuances of commodity markets in a highly competitive business environment.
