CME Group opens technology centre in Bengaluru

Global derivatives marketplace CME Group today announced the opening of its new technology centre in Bengaluru that will expand international network, enabling it to serve a broader range of clients worldwide.
"I am very pleased to be in Bengaluru today opening our technology center, which provides another example of our commitment to this region as our business continues to grow in Asia," CME Group CEO Phupinder Gill said.
CME, which is looking to top talent for over 70 new jobs in technology and quantitative engineering, is building a strong team of talented, motivated and energetic employees who are interested in making real and immediate contributions to the global financial services industry, he added.
"The new positions being filled at CME Group here will help our global client base to manage risk across all asset classes from a single platform," he said.
Jobs filled in the Bengaluru office will provide support and analysis for the greater CME Group network, including openings in the areas like information security, software development, infrastructure, operations and quantitative engineering.
