CNG pump owner robbed of Rs 25 lakh

A CNG pump owner was today looted of Rs 25 lakh by four bike-borne assailants at gunpoint on the national highway-2 in Vrindavan here, police said.
The accused, riding on two motorcycles, stopped in front of Ripudaman Singh's car forcing him to halt. They then snatched the bags with the money in it at gunpoint and fled from the spot, they said, adding the accused also confiscated the car keys from Singh.
"We tried to nab the culprits by sealing the area, however they remained out of reach but they would be nabbed shortly, a confident Singh said," SP (city) Sravan Kumar Singh said.

A hunt is on to nab the robbers, he said.
