The CNN refused to run the ad that highlights Trump's accomplishment during his first 100 days in office, to which the narrator in the video says: "You wouldn't know it from watching the news."
The ad then features images of CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer, MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow, and others along with the graphic reading "fake news."
"The mainstream media is not fake news, and therefore the ad is false and per policy will be accepted only if that graphic is deleted," it said.
The Trump campaign later blasted the CNN in a press release, titled, "Fake News Station Refuses to Run Ad Highlighting The President's First 100 Days."

"It is absolutely shameful to see the media blocking the positive message that President Trump is trying to share with the country," said Michael Glassner, campaign's executive director, in the press release.
The release further says the "CNN takes issue with the ad's message calling out the mainstream media for peddling fake news and not reporting on the fact that President Trump is making America great again."
It says the ad entitled 'First 100 Days' highlights the President's first 100 days in office; exhibiting clear vision, resolute leadership, and an uncompromising dedication to the American people, just as he promised throughout his campaign.
