Co-brother of constable among 2 held for his murder

: The co-brother of a traffic constable was among two persons arrested in connection with the murder of the policeman here in January this year.
Sivanandam Robert was among the two persons arrested and he is the co-brother of the deceased constable, Director General of Police S K Gautam told reporters here today.
The constable was allegedly murdered by Robert and four of his friends over personal enmity in a secluded spot at Navarkulam area here.
The constable's wife had filed a complaint that her husband had not returned home after duty on January 10. Police initially registered a 'man missing case'. A special team was then formed to probe the case.

The DGP said investigation revealed that Arunagiri was murdered by his co brother and his accomplices in a secluded place in neighbouring Navarkulam village.
Robert was arrested here and the other person from Cuddalore in Tamil Nadu, he said, adding police are on the look out to nab three other persons.
