Coal India arm NCL declares interim dividend of Rs 2,644 cr

The world's largest coal miner CIL today said its arm Northern Coalfields has declared an interim dividend of Rs 2,644 crore for the period ended December 31.
"Northern Coalfields Ltd (NCL)... Has declared an Interim dividend of Rs 14,884.05 per share of Rs 1,000 each on 17,76,728 equity shares, amounting to Rs 2,644.49 crore for the period ended December 31, 2015," Coal India (CIL) said in a BSE filing.
This is the second interim dividend declared by the company till date, the company said.
"Thus cumulative interim dividend declared by Northern Coalfields Ltd till date amounts to Rs 3,244.49 crore.
The shares of CIL were trading at at 324.00 on BSE, down 1.40 per cent per cent from the previous close.
