Coal India prevail over MTNL

Coal India scored a narrow win over MTNL while New India Assurance easily chased Neyveli Lignite's paltry score of 99 runs in the Plate Division matches of the All India PSU Cricket tournament hosted by RCF at the D Y Patil ground today.
In the first match, CIL scored 121 for 7 after being put in to bat by MTNL, with K Pandit scoring 31 in 22 deliveries. In reply, MTNL could muster only 118 for 6 in the allotted overs. Sanket Paralkar scored a fine 71 in 57 deliveries.
In the second match, NIA won the toss and decided to field. NLC folded up for 99 and NIA chased the target while losing 5 wickets in 13.1 overs.
